Sanjay Joshiis Principal Urban Development Specialist with Asian Development Bank (ADB), and leading urban sector development initiatives in ADB’s South Asia Department. He has 29 years of vivid experience in areas of policy advocacy, financing, development and operation management of various infrastructure projects in Urban Infrastructure, Transport, Real Estate, etc. under Public Private Partnership (PPP) framework. He has worked in various Asian countries, and has profound understanding of issues involved under regulatory and institutional regimes for infrastructure development.He holds Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University, India. He has authored various papers and case studies on PPP in Infrastructure Projects.
Ron H. Slangen is a US national and an Urban Development Specialist at the Asian Development Bank since 2008. He is currently outposted to ADB's India Resident Mission in New Delhi serving as ADB’s urban sector focal point. Mr. Slangen has over 14 years of professional experience in the US and Asia. He is currently team leader for a $7.0 million technical assistance titled Strengthening Climate Change Resilience in Urban India to address issues of flooding, water scarcity, and energy efficiency in cities across India. In 2013, Mr. Slangen prepared the ADB report titled Financing Low Carbon Urban Development in South Asia. He previously worked for the Climate Change Task Force in New York City, and holds an MS degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
