The five Working Groups with their focus area and the Lead country, the sub-themes that would be focussed during the 6th Conference under each of the working groups, and the room/venue within the Vigyan Bhawan in which the deliberations of  each of the working groups (in parallel sessions) would be held are as follows: indicated below:

Guidelines for Participation by Member countries for

Sharing their Country experiences through presentations in the Working Group sessions:

1)    The Working Group sessions would be Chaired by the respective Lead Countries of the Working Groups.

2)    The Lead countries would make the first presentation on 14th in the first parallel session of the respective working group.  In the same session, UN-Habitat would also make a presentation in each of the working group sessions.

3)    All the member countries are requested to share their country experiences on the sub-themes of the working groups. The member countries willing to make presentations may please keep the Organisers informed on the working group(s) in which they would like to share/make presentation(s) on their country experiences, the day (we have working group parallel meetings on 14th and 15th) and the working group session (we have one session on 14th and two sessions on 15th) in which they would like to present their  country experience. The organising team would attempt to accommodate accordingly, to the best extent possible.  While indicating the same, a page not exceeding 250 words may please be provided on the focus of content, and, particulars of the delegate making the presentation in the format attached.    An advance copy of the presentation may kindly be sent by the 10th of December to facilitate smooth sharing of the same. The time available for each presentation is 7 to 12 minutes.

4)    There are 3 sessions for each working group with 12 to 15 presentations in all for each of the Working group.  Member countries may please indicate by December 6th 2016 the particulars of the presentation intended, so that the programme is firmed up. Presentations/ brief notes not received on time could however be part of the Conference proceedings when finalised.
